How
to track qualifying times |
| |
|
| |
To
participate in the 2006 World Sport Stacking Championships, participants
in age divisions 5 thru 10* must meet or beat the qualifying
times designated below. We have patterned qualifying for the tournament
after the Individual competition itself. |
|
|
| |

Current
requirements to qualify a time: |
| |
Beginning
at the WSSA 2005 Championships, methods to verify and accept
a stacker's event time(s) were altered to accommodate improvements
in timing methods on the sanctioned equipment (Competition Timer).

on sanctioned equipment
Video
verification remained as a necessary key. WSSA personnel review
a stacker's submitted video. Once vetted, the time(s)
are included in the World Records listing for division and event.

How
Qualifying Times were recorded prior to the 2005 WSSA Championships:
|
| |
We
asked that an adult had overseen (or timed) the Stacker for three
tries and record each time, filled in the Best Time.
If
using a StackMat, the Stacker
- would
start and stop the timer
- correct
all fumbles.
If
using a stopwatch the Stacker should:
- would
start with hands flat on the table;
- have
no false starts;
correct all fumbles;
- and
be timed to the 1/100 of a second.
Tmer
said ‘Ready…Get Set…Go!’ and started
the stopwatch
on the word “Go”. |
